Protest against torture of students at Multan varsity

 MULTAN: Students at the Bahauddin Zakariya University are protesting after a torture video of students being tortured was released, Geo News reported.

One of the tortured students Waseem Abbas said he did not have differences with anyone and five senior students who were intoxicated at the time were involved in the incident. The students protested after Geo News brought video of the incident to light.

After seeing the video Governor Punjab and Chief Minister Punjab took notice of the incident and directed the Inspector General of Police to review the situation
